Squeaky zorst sorted !!

Featured Replies

At last, my squeaking exhaust on my Octy VRS is sorted. Apparently, the cause has been seen a number of times on VAG cars. A bracket needed a weld on the centre section as one of the spot welds fails. I thought I would take the time to give the garage a mention. The A44 garage in Worcester (of which I use very often) is a family run business and have a Tyre and an Exhaust centre at opposite sides of the road. They are also Powerflow agents, and will custom make zorsts. They never even charged me this time !!

:)I do MOT testing and see this a lot on Octavias, Golfs, A3s, TTs, Beetles ect. I don't fail them for it as the mount still supports the exhaust but just point it out as an advisory. The Audi dealer I used to do MOT tests for used to replace the centre silencer rather than spend a few minutes welding the bracket!

Kwik Fit sorted mine for £15.
