Remote locking?

Featured Replies

Hi

My old (N reg) 1.3 Felicia has an aftermarket alarm with a remote that locks or unlocks the car as well as setting the alarm. My slightly newer diesel doesn't and my wife would like the remote unlocking if not the alarm now that the evenings are dark. Is it fairly straightforward to install one of the remote locking kits found on Ebay? Does anyone have any experience of these - are they secure for instance? (The central locking on the car is all working fine.)

Thanks

I'm assuming it should be fairly easy to buy a kit off Ebay

If you dont know what you're doing you can get one fitted at any ICE specialist. Should cost less if your car already has central locking as the servo's are in place. Cost me £150 for an alarm plus fitting for that and a head unit.

I had an alarm on my Astra 95 but no central locking

Now I got central locking on my Skoda but no alarm/remote.
