100 Cell cat and Engine management light

Featured Replies

As per the title really. I have got a blueflame turbo back system with 100 cell cat and the engine management light stays on. What can i do if anything to get the light off?

Thanks

Chris

Connect a VAGCOM computer an tell us what the error is :-)

Are the lambda sensor connected correctly?

I asked the guy at blueflame about it and he said its because of the 100 cell cat that this sometimes happens. I have read a post or 2 on here about it but now can't find them. I am guessing this is the most likely option as the engine management light wasn't on before. Anybody else with the blueflame system had the same problems? If so what did you do about it?

Thanks

hey mate i hav the same problem. The 100cell cat stuck my engine management light on about 3months after buyin it and i stuck it to a garage and they just reset it. They say it might do this every few months cos of the cat.

My 100 cel does the same, cancel with VAG, 90 or so miles later it's back again.

I don't take any notice of it now, mater of fact if it wasn't on I'd be worried!

The answer is to get a spacer between the probe & the housing. These are available across the pond.

Who's up for one?

Got mine yesterday , fitting it soon.

Roger, watch this space. (maybe a little while, the car ramp I use burnt down along with the workshop).

Mine has done the same thing.

my car lost all power it felt like a 1.2. rigged it up on the comp on sat and they said the lambda sensor has blown. getting a new one asap.
