Compliments

Featured Replies

My sister paid my Skoda a compliment last Friday.

Before she was always saying she liked her little Micra better. But on Friday she was saying she wished her Micra had a better dashboard design and had the equipment of my Felicia like the electric mirrors and PAS.

A little off topic now

TBH her Micra looks to be fairly good nick and since she didn't need it for the majority of the year so since she left it at home (she works as a magicians assistant and they use a van to get to gigs)

I had it serviced at 54k miles back in May, its got 58700 at the moment.

Driving around in that I found it to be peppier in town to my 1.6 which felt a little lethargic in comparison plus the road tax is £115 this year to my £180.

Over a certain speed the steering wheel vibrates  around 75mph its noticeable.

Would I swap my Felicia for the Micra though?

No simple reason being the Felicia is the better all rounder.

which Micra is it? Mum's got an 05 one, quite nice for what it is. very basic inside and a 1.2 12v auto-box. I enjoy driving it around town, but on the motorway? Ummm, no. :o slow slow slow.

Hopefully Mum will pass her test soon and I'll have no need to keep nipping over to her house to take her on driving practise. :D

My sister has the 1994 Model 1.0l 16v, 54 BHP

No PAS, No elec mirrors. It has got a Radio/cassette though.

I'll admit it is quite fun to drive in town or even short blasts down country bendy roads.

54BHP doesn't sound like much but the engine likes to revved although maybe not too harshly.

I just hope now that she's paid my Skoda compliments she might buy one of her own instead of planning to "borrow" mine as it has more grunt for motorway work.

My sis had one of those too. No PAS, but so what given that it weighs slightly less than a fag packet, and the wheels were stolen from a supermarket trolley?
