It's got a thoretical top end of 200kph, dyno'd at 185k - 81.2 kW - 109 bhp running 7 bar on an Audi 2.2 turbo. Castrol TWS 10W-60.

The injection system is off an Audi 2.2 turbo too. 8 injectors. It might look a bit rough & ready, but it does the job.

As for ECU... He's got it all running off a laptop which he'll install in the car so he can fiddle with it as & when he likes. I think there's something about an extra memory module but it's not named.

Ceramic clutch, custom manifolds, quiet(ish) exhaust, no flash bodywork mods and here's a link to the dyno stats (in Slovakian of course!) in pdf form http://skoda.panda.cz/obrazky2/442.pdf

As for any details about the uprated brakes & suspension, I drew pretty much a blank and tbh the Zimmermann brakes link is a bit of guesswork too. The Slovaks seem to rave about them a bit and they're dirt cheap in the States. Virtually unknown here in the UK.

Good grief! What time is it?

I'm afraid I don't know a lot about the Felicia, but are the underpinnings not based on a Polo Mk4 (6N/6N2) ? If so, you could use the brake carriers from a Corrado G60 and then bolt 280mm discs straight on the front?

Sorry if this is stating the obvious, but it's what I did with my 6N2 Polo GTi and made a huge difference :)

From what I've read Steve - and see TeflonToms thread about the Q-Felicia http://www.briskoda.net/forums/project-journals/project-q-felicia/75781/?highlight=q+felicia with regards the brakes - the Felicia is based on the earlier Favorit & has nothing whatsoever to do with any VW designed or built car before 1999. http://www.briskoda.net/forums/felicia-fun-forman/what-based/92587/ for confirmation.

I don't use the brakes very much anyway, so it's not of much concern to me ;)

Oh and apparently you need 15" rims for 280mm disks & they barely fit without bodywork mods. It's late, I'm tired & might be wrong...

those old skool audi's wouldn't be a very good choice as a donor car imho, the turbocharger on those had an external wastegate which would be a headache becasue you need extra pipework, i cant see how they would use the injection gear either being a 5 cylinder engine, the ecu would simply be unable to run a 4 cylinder engine

Ahhhh that's what one of those weirds were... Wastegate (considering that the Slovak words for mudguard and dashboard are the same :D and I don't speak a word of it and I was translating from an online dictionary AND it wasn't a technical write-up, I think that even getting 8 injectors wan't bad ;)).

I couldn't tell which pump he used specifically, though it did say something about ditching some injection pipework (hence the untidiness) and there was a lot about the exhaust & other pipework that was indecypherable.

He didn't use the Audi ECU, he was mapping it with presumably VAG diagnostics running on a laptop and some ancilliary back-up storage.

Probably not a set-up for the purist.

Oh and I only really went there to see if there was anything about a kit to do what you're doing with 280mm brakes, which look great btw!

if you want a set of 4 pots for a felicia i reckon about £450 should cover it, maybe less, pm me if you are interested

Steve

i was working on this, but as said befor, the felly is no polo.

i'v managed to get the 280mm corrado disks to fit (not the first to) but i was working on the G60 caliper/carriers but there a total no go, there never gunna fit. there are clearnce isues.

so, im thinking of the willwood calipers like tom.
