new flywheel on furby vrs

Featured Replies

you might remember a couple of weeks ago i was having trouble with my furby vrs. it sounded like bag of nails. well i left it with gorners of warrington while i jetted off to the Algarve for a week. i rang them up on the wed.21/04 and they said the flywheel was knackered. all the grease that is supposed to be in between the 2 flywheels had come out. so they replaced the flywheel and put a new clutch in. i picked it up on the following monday all going well but still making a metalic catching noise, so i rang the service manager up when i got home to tell him. they said it was test driven and said it was ok. so i said was the mechanic deaf! anyhow i'm taking it back on friday while they have another look. but if they fail to resolve the problem i will be going elsewhere. to say i'm disatisfied with gorners is an understatement... every time my car is off the road it costs me money. so far my time with skoda is living up to it's old skoda reputation.. :(
