Lazy owner ?

How much can you trust a car cleaning company ? we use one under the office building, but it is a private concern, it serves many companies, and most cars will be company cars.

Interesting question. Inside and out or just outside, no probelm if you are not giving them the keys, also a contract would be useful and check references and call the other clients up.

depends really.

most of the people on Detailing World id be quite happy to leave them the keys.

surely though worst comes to the worst your car will still be insured anyway as you have left it for them to work on

Hi

Thank you for the imput.

The garage under the high rise office has security and all cars have there own parking place. No complaints on the way the cleaning co conduct their business. We are only thinking of the actual protection their waxing is giving. How do you know between two polished cars, one done at home one at a garage or a cleaning company. I mean they all shine !! Or is it a matter of ,if it shines its OK ??

Ask them for a full breakdown of what they do and what products they use - then post it on here for comments.

Im sure most valeting companies will be capable of giving your car a shine. My main concern would be how long it will last (hence the question about what products they use) and whether they are likely to do any small scale damage. For example, have a look at what sort of cloth/sponge/wash mitt they use when they wash a car. If they use a sponge and do lots of cars with it, they will almost certainly put swirl marks in your paint.
