Hi guys,

I have a new vRS ( 4 months old ). Today on my way from work I noticed that the l/100km readout was giving me absurd figures. It kept switcing anywhere from 3l/100km to 30l/100km every one two seconds. It hasnt happened before , any ideas on what could have happened or can I do anything before I take to the dealer ?

You have it set to the instantaneous fuel consumption and not the mean (average) consumption. Even a slight pressure on the accelerator will markedly reduce the instantaneous consumption.

Flick through the computer settings to find the display you want.

I always leave it on that mode..today i drove it to work and back (40 kms) and seemed to be alright :confused:....good for me i guess..
