After having recent problems with my F/P/S window I thought that it would be the regulator again. After a few coffee's later in the Skoda garage they have told me its not the reg but the window seal which of course is not covered by my extended warrenty and has been put down to wear and tear. Now i rarely open my windows as my old car had broken winders so i sort of gotten used to not opening the windows. So i was curious more than anything am i cover under warrenty or not? because otherwise its a nice bill of 95 for the seal and the labour charge. Is this just a scape goat that they could use for anything ooo its just wear and tear sorry ?

Check your extended warranty booklet. But in my experience in working for a dealership (not skoda) your seal is not covered. :thumbdwn:

It would be covered on your normal 3 year warranty.

hi cheers for the reply in the booklet it mentions something which basically covers the window seal not being covered, its a general scape goat though its one of the last things mentioned in the book but at the mo im too lazy to go get it, But how can the window seal go ? im just going to bite the bullet and cough up on tuesday
