Octavia rubber mats

Featured Replies

:thumbdwn:Whilst shaking out my drivers side mat of grit it split from the gas pedal and down the middle for about 16 cm.As the Octy mat goes around the pedal it seemed to me to be a vunerable point of stress(to me anyway).Skoda said never seen this happen so could not get replacement under warranty, well i tried, asked how much new one and was quoted £90.So i glued it together, however was in Lidle store and saw these mats which seem to be as good as Skoda ones and all you have to do is cut out along the lines to fit Skoda as they were multi purpose ones.Offered it up against my one and it would have meant cutting into places which would have made it a pigs ear ,i have the A5 but do not know whether other Octy have a differant shape for the drivers side.Forget the actual price of Lidle but it was under £10.

£90 for rubber matts??? i thought they were £20-£30 for a full set?

Rubber mats are £24.01, The most expensive mats are the 4X4 carpet mats at £41 so I don't know what glue your dealer has been sniffing but it must be strong stuff
