lowering springs

Featured Replies

Just wondering what everybody thinks are the best lowering springs to go for. I have a 1,8T estate on a 52 plate. The car failed mot today on a fractured rear spring. Can get OEM spring for 40 + vat, but i have always been told to put a pair on (what do you lot think), so about 80 quid plus labour. Have a friend who works in Demon Tweeks who can get me great discount on stuff. They offer eibach, koni, and spax. Eibach are nearly twice the price of the others, are they worth it.

The shocks are original and at the moment seem in perfect order, if money becomes more available i would think about poss dampers, again any thoughts:confused:

On an Octy the Eibachs are very much worth the money in most folks' view.
