My wife and I are looking to buy a Fabia greenline next year and are also considering replacing our beloved pickup truck with a roomster in january depending on a successful long test drive.

We have three children, a teenager and two under fives and we live in a 180 year old cottage that we bought as a derelict shell a few years back, now restored to somewhere near former glory..... but with the benefit of a nice wood burning rayburn - similar to an AGA but cheaper - a bit like a skoda to a VW

It seems we are going through a regression to 1800's style living in a quest to reduce our living costs, the wood fuelled stove is working out at half the running costs to provide all our cooking, heating and hot water compared with gas. We've also just excavated the original spring fed well and that in theory provides us with independant water supply. We started to grow our own vegetables/salad this year and had great success so we are looking forward to producing pretty much all our veg next year.

Looking at getting a tax free fabia with great mpg to slash our motoring costs too but as we fell in love with the roomster while looking at the fabia our poor old truck might be replaced soon.....
