what about thge storage pockets on the side of the seats by the centre console, and the flap in the glovebox that you can store stuff underneath.

The glovebox works in the same way as the can holder, there is a dial that you can set to open or shut and lets air in from the fan system (be it hot/cold or AC)

Useless!

That's where the manual & service book, etc, live...
Something I've never used, and never likely to: The little storage pockets behind the two front seats... :D

Maps go nicely in them. As does any paperwork I'm taking home from the office (and it won't blow around when the windows are open).

The pockets on the side of the front seats is v. useful for hanging my mobile off (via it's belt clip).

There is another storage pocket directly below the steering wheel by the way, useful for coins.

Did some experiments with this - warm up engine, air con on, put fan full on and set temp to hot. Ice cold air is pumped into the glove box, hot air is pumped into the can "chiller". :D

Chris

I only ever open the 'can chiller' to get to the diag port...lol.

And did you have the can chiller 'on' Chris?

Lol - yep that's how I know it was blowing hot air! ;):D

Chris

Me thinks a little test with my digital thermometer is needed ;)

Lol - had a look in the handbook and it says that this is correct behaviour. Maybe it's wasn't a can "chiller" back in 2001 ;)
