The plastic slider on the drivers-side, rear electric window lifter has snapped. I ordered a replacement part from Skoda, 80p. But it's completely the wrong shape. Skoda parts man says it's the only one on his computer. Complete window lifter mechanism, minus electric motor is £50. Anybody sourced the plastic part before? It's black with two plastic 'wings'. The new one (which doesn't fit) is white and has no wings. Or can you get a different window clamp to fit the new part? Or do you know any web-based spares sites or North-East England breakers? Any help greatly appreciated.

The plastic parts are only available as part of the window regulator assembly, as you say around £50.
