Has anyone had the dash update yet?

Yup, seems to work ok.. It did ask to download another ACC codec (I guess the vid I tried also had extra video encoding?) but other then that

Also Halo can be downloaded for 1200 m$ points amoung a few other games and video market place get a boost on the 9th I with films priced at 300 GP's for HD titles

well when i turned mine on it asked if it could update so i said yes. it went though the update process and restarted but hasn't started back up properly and if you try and turn it on its like there are downloads in the background :(

Both of mine took about 10 seconds to download the update and about 20 secs to install/process it. After the reboot it sat there for about 4 or 5 minutes with what looked like an XBox 360 in the middle of the screen and a timers going around the outside. After that tho it seemed ok.

thats what mine is doing and i gave it a good 5 mins, now just leaving it alone to see what happens :(

i have discovered that signing out of xbox live makes everything go back to normal just no online content obviously, stupid bloody microsoft :(

It could be something to do with the extra XBL features like the Friends of Friends or the News section? I expect there is a fair amount of activity on there servers this evening too.

It downloaded onto mine this evening, as has been mentioned already, after signing back onto live it took a good few mins before I got anything that worked. All OK now, and just played forza 2 for a bit without any problems.

Hmmmm, whan you say no support do you get an error message does it just fail to play?

yup - it works, but only in the xbox dashboard media section, Media Centre (which is hooked up to my PC) still refuses to play divx :(
