long shot, anybody use litespeed?

As per title, about to evaluate it, mainly for the reported performance gain over a traditional apache/apc set up.

But also as it's quite nifty at rails stuff and apache / proxy scares me. Not for how it's done, using it on 4 other servers, more the resource usage

So if anybody happens to be a don, and does not having his or her ear bent about tips/tricks for a bit, let me know.
