Just bought a new sony head unit. Have removed the standard one and found 3 plugs which connect to the rear of the unit in the configuration shown below.

What does the plug for section C do? The adaptor that came with the sony has plugs that will connect to the A and B plugs only. Is the C plug left disconected?

Yes, the C plug is the connection to the autochanger at the back, You only need A and B. You will also need to cut the K wire, and possibly reverse the 12V feeds because they are reversed on the octy.

The K wire is on Pin 3, of the power block.

Is the K-Wire on block A (Power Block?) connector 3? The one with all pins? Sounds a silly question but i want to make sure that is a top down picture of the car ISO and not the Headunit ISO, otherwise I have no K-Wire on the ISO.....LOL

If so, on my Kenwood that is a grey/black wire and i just unplug it with a paperclip, is that correct?

I looked on the Octavia ISO and the K Wire is there, Grey with a white strip. But there is nothing there on the Kenwood ISO in the same spot, so obviously it doesn't use it...

So, now the HU is in, USB in the glovebox, and RCA in the glovebox to! I need more time to fit the rest in LOL
