i've got a mk1 oct Vrs and have noticed a knocking noise coming from the front left of the car when i go over bumps in the road, it sounds like a wobble board rolf harris would use lol, any ideas what this could be?

Sounds like your ARB Bushes have had it.

yeah mate it agree happened to me too

antiroll bar bushes, mine make same noise. sound rather loud inside car- i thought a wheel had come loose it was that bad. if its a early car (mines 02) the rollbar has a sleeve on it to fit into bush,and are unavailble, so roll bar required(£60+). i got some polybushes 19mm bushes and these don't need sleeve so i am going to try these,
