So which ones did you choose' date=' Hugh? The B6 Sport? That would work with the standard springs.

I will be going with either the B6 or B8 - my 4x4 is lowered, but that's compared to the silly off-road rideheight, so I guess either would fit. They are a fair bit cheaper than KW V1 too, so if you don't need anything to fiddle with, they are the way to go. The B12 kit is the B8 with lowering springs included.

Would be interested to see a price/spec/experience comparison between KW V1/2/3 and Bilstein B14/16, though.[/quote']

Hi,

Excuse my ignorance but I'm not really sure, here are the part numbers taken from www.motorsportworld.co.uk :Front: VN3-4283 Rear: BE3-2543.

Hope these help, I had a bit of trouble getting someone to fit the Bilsteins as some garages thought they wouldn't fit! Eventually went back to Star Performance to get them done (bit of a hike to get there but was getting the Miltek exhaust/sports cat done at the same time). Shockers fitted no problem, not sure what it's like over in you area but just make sure you get them fitted by a company who knows VAG cars quite well.

Cheers

Hugh

Hi' date='

That's the B6 at the front, and the B8 on the rear. You can see for yourself here: http://katalog.bilstein.de/

Looks like the likely scenario for me too. I'll follow your advice and have them fitted by MAD, which is Skoda NL's suspension partner. They're only 50 euros more expensive than the independent motorsport supplier and I can have them fitted during the upcoming 30k kms service, so won't lose a day.

Hi Mattijas,

Thanks for the info, hope the new suspension kit fitment goes well and you enjoy the results!

Cheers

Hugh
