Anyone know of a Dealer(s) in Yorkshire with an Octavia 1.8TFsi available to test. Preferably not D M Keith.

Think your just about knackered if you want a Skoda dealer that isn't D M Keith in Yorkshire around your area (Yeah I wouldn't give them the time of day either!), the only dealer I know of is Benfield in Harrogate (joined with Ford, down Knaresbrough Road) but don't know if they have a 1.8 yet.

You could give Bickertons on Sheffield a call.

Absolutely fantastic. Engine has plenty of power. Lovely and smooth, plenty of pull between 1500 and 5000 rpm so quite an impressive power band.

I was originaly looking at a VRS and a diesel aswell, until I drove the TFSI Vrs.

I then got to thinking that I didnt really need all the power of the Vrs so I thought I would build my own if you like.

Im gonna go for the 1.8TFSI, Sports Suspension and Zenith 17" wheels, Esp + Asr, Maxidot, Vrs spoiler and chrome exhaust tail Pipes. Just undecided about colour at the minute either Dark Blue or Athracite Grey.

Simpsons e-mailed me today to say no test drive available as the demonstrator has been sold!!!

Somebody did take it straight out after me so maybe they purchased it. I can certainly see why. 1.8TFSI Laurin and Klement with 6000 on the clock for £16000.
