Removed to check oil level and it came out quite easily. However, on putting it back, it needs a rather strong tug to remove it. I am just wondering if this is normal given that it seemed to come out very easily, before I go driving around.

Also, the actual plastic cog at the bottom of the speedo drive gear assembly didn't seem to want to stay flush with the main assembly, and could extend about 4cm quite easily, is this normal?

The speedo drive, should be fairly easy to put back in, but can be hard to get out.

And no, thats not normal, new cable i think.

I had my cable up yesterday, and the pieces where held together.
