gap at top of windcreen trim? (side bits)

Featured Replies

Just had some paintwork done on the quarter panels of the octy I, when I got it back I noticed the trim at the sides of the windscreen has a gap at the top on either side between the trim and the windscreen.

Also noticed that where this trim meets the roof rack runners there appeared to be a small bulge where they joined. Not sure if it has appeared since the paint job, so tempted to get it back to the garage to get it sorted.

Then, remembered there was another octy mk 1 at work, so had a quick look and noticed the same problem.

Anyone else got this problem?, maybe more likely if you've had your windscreen replaced i guess.

My concern is that is increased wind noise and also mpg as it's creating drag.
