Zachry deserves a drink!

Featured Replies

Thank you!

Five weeks of nightmare over thanks to Zachry and Briskoda.

It was the fuel pump relay and I didn't even have to buy a new one. taling the top off and opening/closing it a couple of times sorted it out (though I WILL get a spare :D).

Happy Solstice up there in the land of the midday moon :D

Its certainly looking promising, and Zachry is a top man:D:thumbup:

Thank you people!

Ill see if you can buy me that drink if i ever make a little jump over the north sea =)

Very glad to be of assistance. Ive been trough the same thing, going on for weeks, so im very glad that all my work and trouble could help someone else too.

And as i said in the thread. Everybody pickup every spare fuel pump relay you can find. It might be the source of all kinds of wierd symptoms and should be one of the first things you test. I keep an extra fuel pump relay in the car at all times!

The wierd thing is that vagcom didnt pick up any trace of it.

:iagree:

I would imagine this is either because it was not at fault when it was tested or, as in the case of the coil, VAG com on this ECU considers it to be a mechanical componant.

Thank you people!
