VW tried to change it when they took over but there was a major backlash from the Skoda factory.

On the Fabia concept car thing, can't remember what it was called shown earlier this year, pale blueish/green half mpv thing....

Anyway it had an updated Skoda badge and AutoExpress said it would become launched as the new badge later in the year.
