Light delay, schematics

Featured Replies

Hi

I just bought a new car alarm system, and wanted to add some more features.

First i want the cabin light to do this.

Turn on, when i un arm, and unlock the car, this function gives out 12 V pulse on the alarm.

Keep the light on for 5 minutes, or until the car is turned on, this is a 12 volt constant, when the car is turned to ignition.

The door switches gives 12 volt when the doors are closed, and NC when they are opened.

Is it possible to add a fading effect to the cabin light allso?

The bulb for the cabin light is 10 watt, and 12 volt.

I have basic knowlegde of electronics, and know how to use a soldering iron, and even some SMD soldering.

So can anyone help me building this?

Best Regards

Morten

I'd post this in the tech or maintainance diagnostics forums too :) At least one member has added a light fade/delay circuit to a Felly.
