hi all anone any updates, my octys poor suspension was well illustrated on a spirited drive back from Galway with a mate in his Impreza, on certain roads I could just not go any faster due to bottoming out!!! and it wasnt that fast anyway :( just wondering who has uprated the dampers and with what... would a 35mm drop with the abov KW's endanger my sump?

Cheers

Fergal, Are we talking just dampers or dampers and springs as in KW Variant 1?

Hi Manny, the kit I was offered is below KW 1 it's just dampers and springs (35mm drop) not actual coilovers... I really dont want to lower the car, just need to control the body more on undulating roads, which are the main roads here :) bloody bogs :D

AFAIK the KW dampers are made by koni which is a worry as i know the rears blow... was curious to see if the Bora dampers would be better for the Octy (heavier rear)?

Maybe I'll check the price on KW1, but even with the coilovers the rear setup is still a damper isnt it?

Cheers
