Centre armrest?

Featured Replies

I really dont like the empty space on the centre console. Is it possible to fit a console from another car or can i fit an armrest to the existing console etc?

Darren

What do you mean by Centre Console?

If your talking about the space between the front seats, 4x4's & L&K's have an armrest.

Hi mate, what about this;

ARMREST CONSOLE BOX SKODA FELICIA,OCTAVIA CARBON-DESIGN on eBay, also Centre Consoles Dashboards, Interior Styling, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 06-Jan-08 11:17:46 GMT)

Seems to look pretty good and I saw a private sale of one of the other day going for £50!!!

Thinking I might treat myself to one as well actually.

There's a cheaper one as well which looks really good;

The choice is yours mate (the 2nd link refers to a MK2).

Have a look at an original, then make your mind up. :thumbup:

My 4x4 has one & I'm pleased that it's there rather than not.

If it didn't come with the car, I'm sure I wouldn't miss it.

The 2nd link from vrs-si is a mk1 octavia?

Over to you VRSPhil. :thumbup:

yeh have a search on the armrest as ive posted pics already and installation guide

There is an official Skoda part (?koda Accessories), they claim that it is only for the Ambient and Elegance but it should also fit the vRS. On my old vRS there was a rectangular space just behind the handbrake, you should be able to remove that and fit the armrest into it the hole thats left. I don't know how much work is involved, but I wouldn't have thought it to be too bad.

The Skoda part is quite pricey, but you'll prob be able to pick one up cheaply on ebay.

I Fitted one to my VRS. I think it was from a Passat but can't be sure. I was looking for a complete black item but settled for this gray and black, which is not to off the colour match with the seats.

The fitting was easy and did not need any cutting. Just removed the indented plastic part from the consule fitted the metal bracket to the handbrake studs as shown in earlier pics. I did have to find a extended stud to go over the left hand side to make the bracket sit at the right angle.

I had one in my old vRS, sold it on here. Don't go for an ebay knock off. They are so rubbish it's un believable.

Cheers for all the advice. I'll keep my eye out on ebay for a MK4 Golf, Bora or Passat genuine item, seems to me that they are all they same and that the only variance is down to colour choice.
