Are they identical or different?

Octy2 black magic pearl effect paint code is 9910. Can anyone with Oct1 black magic share the paint code?

Oct1 also had "pearl effect"?

I need this info so I can talk 'sense' to the garage who seems to have messed up my new car (octy2) paint.

I dont think they are any different, if you went to a dealer and asked for a touchup stick, you will get the same one no matter what car you own.

there is no difference both old and new octavias are the same colour sharing the same code there is no difference in the recipe that make the colour
