I ordered a set from Powerbulbs (thanks for the brisky discount), plus some diadem indicator bulbs (which are buy one set get one set free).

WOW, are the X-Treme bulbs bright! I was expecting some improvement, but not this much. Either my previous bulbs were absolute cack or these bubls really are this good. Fitting them on the Fabia is a doddle. Which brings me to my next point. Powerbulbs gives you free sidelight bulbs, how do you get the sidelights out? I tried twisting and pulling to no avail (it is zero degrees outside currently). Tip's greatly appreciated (as would a pair of fingerless gloves).

Going to install the diadem indicator bulbs and get a nice shiny non fried egg look.

I also ordered some but they sent me the bloody wrong ones! Could do with all the extra light I can get with these country roads

I'm a big fan of the Xtreme's and they certainly outshone (badoom-tish) my previous +50% uprated bulbs. Best trick with the sidelights seems to be some long-nosed pliers to just loosen them a bit and then reach in to pull them out.

I'll second that. I have the Xtreme +80% and they are fantastic. A bit to fantastic infact as I have to lower the level of them or I get flashed all the time.

I used a flat screwdriver to prise the sidelight holders out - then yank the cable.

I really appreciate the Xtremes and I really notice the output lower when the lenses get dirty.

The diadems are nifty, but I've swapped them to the front and put Phillips Silvervision on the back as they look less obvious (and blue).

How do the Osram Diadems work in the fabia? I still get half a fried egg in my car.
