COLD AIR INDUCTION INTAKE 1.8T GOLF/JETTA/GTI / OCTAVIA on eBay, also, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 05-Jan-08 22:14:50 GMT)

Would like to know which of you guys would, or would not recommend buying this for an Mk1 vRS Octavia - seems decent for the money?

Also, thought the link may be useful for anybody else looking for a Cold Air Induction kit as not seen ever so many around this price range.

Cheers,

Luke.

i have the very same 1 on my octy vrs,its very good for the price, fits well, sounds good, the only thing i would say about it is the filter isnt the best, but it does it job,by the way its a better fit than carbonio that i fitted to my mates 1.8t golf

That's a coincidence, thanks for the info dewaryboy.

Have you found any performance gains at all, throttle response e.t.c? (out of interest, did you pay the same?)

You will be better off with just a panel filter TBH :)

I agree - cheap and simple to fit whilst retaining the original airbox design.
