Hi all....

.... had my '03 Octy VRS for a month or so now and it has only just started making a shrieking (squealing) noise when it is first started from cold. It starts after a few seconds, then dies away after 10-15 seconds or so :confused:

Everything works just fine, and if I switch it onto ECON on the fan settings, then it dies away (or doesnt do it at all!)

Any ideas please ?

Leaves that have got past the pollen filter possibly or get the clutch checked on the air con compressor and the condition of the Aux belt checked too.

Probally aux drive belt. Mine did it last year even though it looked spot on. I changed it and it worked a treat although it has just started doing it a little this year too.

I guess its that time of year again.
