Hi, couple of cleaning questions.......

• What product/technique is best to clean the entire engine bay?
  
• I have been using Meguiars alloy wheel cleaner, is there a better product?
  
• How can I get my brake calipers looking like new again?
  
• Those stupid black (or grey in my case) plastic bumper trim.....How can I get them looking black again?

Best thing to do with the engine bay if firstly be careful!

Get the engine warm (not hot) and wiper over plastics.

Or if you want to go full hog have a read on detailingworld about how to do it.

If the Meguiars wheel cleaner is working then why change?

To get your calipers looking new again take the wheels off and use a small amount of wheel cleaner on them and then wax them after

Some bumper and plastic renovator will work fine. If you want to make it more perminant heat the plastic up first and then apply the product

In answer to a couple of your questions....

Might be worth putting some protection on your wheels after you next clean them, to make them easier to clean in future. Something like Chemical Boys Wheel Guard or Poorboys Wheel Sealant (Alloy Wheel Cleaner, Waxes and tyre dressings)

Peanut butter (smooth) is a cheap way of cleaning up grey / black trim
