Recommendations for servicing in East Midlands?

Featured Replies

Is there anybody on this forum who can recommend a good Skoda servicing place once the car has passed it's warranty period? Looking for somewhere in the Derby/Nottingham/Mansfield/Chesterfield area. Or is it better to stay with the official Skoda garages? I've read the reviews in the forum and most of the local ones don't seem too great when it comes to servicing apart from Hortons in Lincoln but they are a bit far for me!! Any advice would be much appreciated! Cheers.

Halls of Ruddington. Were for years a Skoda dealer. Supplied me with 2 cars (skoda).

They still service skodas. I can recommend them.

Thanks for the suggestion, Waterloo!

I'll bear them in mind once the warranty runs out but it lloks like I may have to get it serviced just prior to that so I may try Farmer's in Nottingham if their pricing is all right. Went in there for some touch up paint and the service dept. woman I spoke to seemed helpful and friendly so hopefully the rest of them are good as well.

Is it true that Farmers Nottingham is the same crew as Renshaw & Newsome? Now that was a company that had a very good reputation in Nottingham. Pity they're gone now!

Try DSB Autocare in Bulwell, there has been some good reviews on here, and have used them myself and are very recommended - cheaper than the dealer. Think the guy who works there is an ex Renshaw & Newsome Tech.
