Turn on engine and got a constant dash alarm, the trip had gone into reset with ____/__ 100kms__ or similar showing, any ideas, it's gone now but i wanna know if to expect some wallet unloading real soon.

Pretty sure its the countdown to the next service, it will do it every time the ignition is turned on (until serviced & reset)

I thought that myself, I did reset it a few weeks ago, it's not showing the 1000 mile bit though, I'm really wondering if the dealer did service it or stuck cheaper oil in it, according to my book it shouldn't be needing the oil dropped for another 9k, gonna do it next week anyway for POM, oil filter looks the same as a VX DTi one from what I've seen on the net, think I'll use GSF parts, as I think they are the same as a Skoda part without the branding, correct me if I'm wrong.
