It's not difficult, but it is more time consuming than you might expect. You need to disconnect the battery, remove the headlight units, remove 6-7 screws from the back which hold the rear cover on...then the rest is obvious.

It's important to remember to disconnect the battery as Xenon's use very high voltages.

For what it's worth, the blue sidelights I have tried have always done the same thing (come blue and soon turned very dull as the blue paint burns). I've also tried LED's but they tend to throw light out in one direction (straight out of the end) without throwing any back onto the reflector... so you end up with a single spot of light which just looks odd IMHO. Anyway, good luck with yours, hopefully they will be better than mine were! It's just a bit of a pain having to take the headlights out again if they die after a month.
