I will be tuning my Fabia vRS to around 175-180bhp and am considering changing the stock turbo on grounds on reliability and age.

I've research the different types (Golf platform uses a gt1749va for the PD130; gt1729vb for the PD150 etc) and was wondering this:

- if I want to MINIMISE lag and use other mods to increase the power/torque (eg Milltek exhaust, PD160, Forge FMIC etc) what would be the best turbo to upgrade to?

Eg the gt1729vb?
