Is the glove box handle mechanism available separately from the glove box?

Mine rattles when cold in the mornings

I couldn't find the rattle for months so I tested my theory by putting it in the fridge.

Afaik it's one complete unit

I went to open the glove box, and the handle came off lol

it's got a clip broken off... and I've drilled a hole in the glovebox anyway.... :rolleyes:

Try it, see what happens:)

The handle flopped about and fell out from the glovebox on the car I bought. I asked for this to be rectified before I purchased the car, which they did, and they did supply a new handle, it was in the bag when I turned up.... He did butcher the old one to get the lock out though!!!

Maybe worth a visit to Online spareparts catalogue for AUDI/Volkswagen/Skoda/Seat to see if they list a part number there, and you could then phone them up with the number?
