Water Problem

Featured Replies

Right, every time it rains (bad) I put the blowers on cold and I get internal water jets going up the winscreen??:eek: The problem I have found is the vent on the bonnet is right where the blower fan is?:thumbdwn:

Where can I get a subtle scoop/vent Nothing too Chav:finger: just needs to cover or restrict the water in some form:thumbup:

It's my understanding that it's designed such that water drains away. Is there any signs of blockages in the thingy if you lift the cover off? Leaves might have got in.

Try here for bonnet scoops Skoda Parts & Accessories but I can't help feeling as you drive forwards it will only aid the collection of water.

I haven't seen that happen but the blower fan is just under the vents on the bonnet.

i'll try putting my blowers on cold and on full when it rains just to test.

I too thought that the water may have no means of escape so I did check the drainage and yep there is a clear right of passage for the water??

It only happens when the rain is really heavy!
