First time owner, long time driver.

My recently purchaised Felicia's ignition barrel fell apart within the first week, bummer. I have ordered a replacement and it seems easy to fit myself, the only problem is that I have to recode it after I have fitted it. Do I do this through the radio and also I am not quite sure what the code is. On the inside cover of my owners manual there is a list of numbers, only one of which is four digits and is the interior components code, would the be it?

welcome along, you could always take it to a skoda garage, with some id and your log book and get them to do it?
