Does anybody have any suggestions on the best way to get rid of the grotesque plastic strips (front and back bumper and side strips) spoiling my L&K:(?

Replacing the bumper with the VRS one:confused:?

On the Octavia they are not easy to do anything with. Remove the side strips and you will end up with recessed hole the width of the strip. You will need to replace the bumpers if you want to lose those, because removing those strips will leave all the screws, bolts etc. visible that hold the bumper on. A popular solution, would be to get the black strips painted in body colour, making them less obvious and look better.

You have 2 choices: buy a second set of grey plastic strips, prep, prime and spray them yourself or:

Buy a set of vRS side strips (I assume they are ready to paint) and get a spray shop to do a professional job on them.

I went with the first option but I only did the side strips because I am a lazy ******* but even just doing the sides makes a maasive difference.
