Does any body recommend, possibly an independent specialist to service my Octy vRS in the North East area?

I got a quote from the nearest Skoda dealer (Benfield Newcastle) of £275?

Its the 80k service.

Actually mate on that link there is a presige german motor place. Never even give it a thawt to be honist, my dads a txi driver and all his German car driving mates go there. I'l give em a ring

have you rang silbury skoda they are in cramlington just north of newcastle?

If you haven't already had it done - Turners of Sedgefield are a Ford & Skoda garage. Just had a 40,000 service and it was approx. £270 inc VAT!

hi fellas ive been doin a lot of ringing aroud, silbury skoda was £310 inc VAT, benfield newcastle is £273 inc VAT so that seems the best, that german car place wanted £212 plus VAT and i dont think he would use the same oil etc as skoda would. so i think benfield it is then.

Sedgefield is a 35 mile drive as well where I'm at uni in newcastle during the day so i would probs just drop it off.
