Baker21's Superb Loses 3 Inches!!!!!

Featured Replies

Slight change on the wheel front for the next few weeks as I am getting my 19's 'refurbed' due some 'issues' while I was out in the USA for 3 weeks over the Xmas / New Year period........

For those of you that don't know I sold my 17" Solid's to Tom_vRS so I have had to borrow these from the same person and I am soooooooooo thankful to Tom for helping me out!!

While this look isn't the best it does highlight how much of a difference a set of wheels can have to the stance and look of a car. Drives very differently on these wheels with the ride being a little more bumpy due to the high profile of the tyre....

Watch this space to see the 19's condition when they return.......

Like you say what a difference a set of nice wheels make!!!

Indeed, what a difference, 19's are sooo much better :)

Good on Tom btw

You've been polishing that car....again:eek:

Are the 17s gilt coloured or is it just a trick of the light

Looks like a different car!

Those 19's are suit the Superb sooooo well.

My 16s don't look sooooo bad on there! ;)

Always happy to help out a fellow Briskodian! :)

Well Done Tom.

Trouble is that Carolyn is really depressed now as she has realised how pants her original wheels look.

19's are the way to go but where would a good place be to possibly find some 2nd hand ones (apart from ebay)

Cheers

...........can you tell?

Put a coat of Megs Show Glaze No.7 followed by a coat of Collinite 845 which works well on the lighter colours, happy with the look but to be honest I need to spend some time on my car and not customer's cars after having completed this detail yesterday:

UDM vs Vauxhall Astra MK4........DOUBLE TEAM DETAIL!!! - Detailing World

The wheels had a coat of Turtle Wax Protectant on them, nothing more and they are 16's...........

I think it looks better with them on :Yikes:

Thank you for your comment.........I have thought of selling them recently as refurbing them is costly but I like them and think they suit the car so I have decided to invest some money in them as they are worth it........

I apologise if this thread seems to be me mocking smaller rims, not my intention at all..........I am very grateful to have these and to be fair I love the fact that it's now 'decked!!!

You need to look on Edition 38 which is where I am always looking, loads of wheels come up in there, I can keep a look out for you if you like?

Hi Mate,

never even thought you were mocking them. It's just on the standard car they look teeny. lol

Would you mind (especially if you are on there a bit??) Ideally she is after something very similar to yours with that multispoke design (Perfect for the car). Doesn't matter if they need a bit of a refurb as I had to do the OZ futaras on my old car!!.

Cheers for the help and hope your wheels come back spot on!!

I need someone to detail my car and correct the paintwork, where's the best place to find suitably qualified people?
