RNS 510/Columbus and extra Subwoofer/Amplifier

Featured Replies

Is it possible to install an amplifier to power up an subwoofer ?

I ask this because my dealer says there is no remote cable (blue one on the amp) on the Columbus Head Unit so it wont get a pulse to power up.

I searched a lot on this forum but couldnt find any particular information on the Columbus/RNS 510 and amplifiers.

Is there a diagram maybe what tells which wire can be connected to the amp ?

I am kinda lost here and really want a nice amp in my trunk for that little extra bass with the factory fitted speakers.

btw sorry for my english its not my native language :)

I have not seen the pinouts for the back of a Columbus/RNS 510. There are lineouts on the back of a MFD2.

One man can help us and that would be Stu. Hopefully he has a picture.:)
