Paint problems inside rear door frame

Featured Replies

Hi

While fitting door sill protectors at the weekend I have discovered a 6 inch long scratch on each side of the wheel arch area where the rear doors cover when closed.

It seems to be in the area that the rubber door seal would sit against, below the catch for the door and above where the sill protectors go.

If anyone can describe it better, or know what this bit's called then please let us know

Should this be covered under warranty, and should I expect it to be fixed to showroom condition?

Thanks

The other issue I thought there might be is if the doors are slightly misaligned. has anyone else had any problems with this. being a used car, still in warranty should i expect paint and it's cause to be fixed?
