ABS light on after fuse blown and replaced

Featured Replies

As thread title, my stereo fuse blew, i replaced it and since then the airbag light has been on. Everything else is fine and the stereo is working again but i didnt think the airbag light would be related to the stereo.Ive rechecked every single fuse and they are all ok. So im confused as to what the problem is. If anyone can shed any light id be most grateful!.

Which light is on , the anti lock braking light (as title) or the airbag light (as text)? Without any fault codes, it could be an overcharging fault which would cause the airbag light to come on.

Sorry i got confused. The ABS light did come on but i cleaned the fuse and it went out again. The Airbag light is the light that is on. Sorry for the confusion

Ok thanks for the reply. Ill have to ask around see if anyone i know has vag software.Cheers!

I had to clear the fault on mine after i tore me old phone kit out. I must have knocked the air bag connector or something and it stayed on, only cleared after i wiped the code.
