I just bought this ScanGauge (ScanGaugeII - Trip Computers + Digital Gauges + Scan Tool) and it says "Make and store up to 10 rewritable special codes to send to the vehicle computer". So can I code the ecu/convenience unit? For example put the anti-hijack on, adjust the power steering and EGR... The code has to be put in hex but where I can get those hex codes? Or can I?

Sadly no, only Vag-Com type things can enable these features.

The special codes for the scangauge let it ask the ECU questions about vehicle specific sensors. I think it can display the gearbox oil temperature as one of its special functions.
