Hello im keith and im 17:) and trying my best to get a skoda fabia vrs insurance is going to be a killer though :( at the moment own an astra mk3 1.4 16v and thats £1900 TPF&T but and its doing the job of getting me to work and back for now.. ive read through some threads on this forum and decided its the best one to be on to get advice on anything and everything to do with skoda's :cool:

Hiya. With that insurance quote, I'd advise leaving getting a Fabia vRS until you have a few years NCD.

welcome to briskoda mate, insurance for the vrs is a nightmare I've got mine at £320 a year for a 24 year old with my girlfriend on the policy as well and she is 22 years old, but was quoted at £500 to £700, have a shop around on Cheap UK Car insurance and home insurance quotes comparison from Confused.com. for some brokers there.

Hi guys so the bcm on my 09 octavia left the chat recently and I had an auto electric place code in a second hand one for me . The issue I'm having now is when i select side lights the actual side lights only the filament is glowing and the drl in the fogs illuminate. The car never had the drls working prior to the bcm replacement and thr car lock never chirped either. Another issue I have is both door mirrors aren't working and I tries to replace them with an aftermarket set but still no luck.

Since I had the car, every time I drove it, it has had what my wife called a rattling from the doors. I always characterised it as a creak. As the car is otherwise so quiet (especially when on battery at slow speed) it was quite noticable.
