hi, i look at e-bay to buy a mfd2 or mfd3 navigation for my new octavia II.

i have some questions.

1. i saw that there are three version A,B,C. what is the differents between them?

2. i know that mfd3 has dvd player, does anyone know if i can connect an external source to mfd2(version) like dvd, tv tuner etc?

3. please tell me the full specification of mfd2 and mfd3 if anyone know.

4. at least my octavia II is a 1.8tsi with engine number BZB is there something i must care?

I think for the most part the different models of MFD2 relate to the illumination colour. Skoda=Green, VW=Blue, Audi=Red, and Ford=???? and the startup logo is different. Any will work in your car without trouble, if you dont get the skoda green then the illumination cannot be changed though.

The MFD2 is a CD based system, rather than DVD. You can still watch DVDs on the unit but you need to get an AV aux in adaptor and plug in external source.
