As far as I know, when you order, they make up the covers in the style of your choice.

When you go for fitting, they just replace the covers, about a 3/4 hour job I think.

I may be wrong though!

and the price? £800 for a full re-trim?

Mr Grumpy is spot on, that is exactly what they do :)

When I had my car done last week, I dropped the car off at 8:15ish and Paul (the Boss) gave me a lift back to my hotel.

At about 11:15ish, I had a call from Paul to say they'd completed the work and we then arranged for him to pick me up from the centre of York to collect the car.

The service was fantastic, the work excellent and I couldn't fault it.

Yup, although the seats are made in China not by Seat Surgeons. They preorder them to your spec (the covers are made using a standard Fabia vRS template etc) and then a couple of weeks later they arrive in the UK at which point Seat Surgeons contact you to arrange fitting. They need to know if you have heated seats, 3 rear head rests and side air bags when you order.

You get to keep your old seat covers in a little bag too (I gave mine to Skudmissile as his were a bit stained).
