Superb and Fabia vRS queries

Featured Replies

Hello guys, just found ur site the other day whilst looking for a good deal on a new superb having had to come to terms with the fact that my 54 plate 350,000 mile 1.9 tdi 100 classic is now having to put out to pasture as ive spent £1500 on her since october and have just been told she would need £600 to replace the majority of the heating system(im a taxi driver/owner) ive just bought a 1.9 tdi 115 classic ( was hoping to hold out untill the new superb came out but hey ho ) but my question is twofold 1st , does anyone else suffer from a misting up problem? even from new my old one was particularly bad, 2nd, ive talked to other owners and the cheapest fitted seat covers i can seem to find are £40 from halfords for what look like a reasonable answer to the old age taxi driver problem of "leaky" passengers but have been told of a company that will remove the seats and cover them in "waterproof" leather look material for £350:00 just wondering if anyone has a cheaper alternative?????. finally anyone got any answers to my wifes problem her fabia vrs it keeps loosing power just after star up only for a few seconds and mostly when its cold.. its a 55 plate with full service and only covered 29,000 miles. All replies/answer or remidies gratefully recieved. once again thanks. SPOOKS.:D:thumbup:

Hello and welcome. The seat covers question is a much talked about one, and I think depends on each individuals budget, need and how good you'd like them to look. I'm still searching.

Welcome to Briskoda. :) I suggest that you post the specific queries you want answers to in the individual forums for the cars in question, ie here for the Fabia.

welcome mate, I'd find the 'high milers' thread on General Car Chit Chat page and stick your 350,000 in the list.
